  • Is weird because I never actually paid attention to that comb over. I just thought he parted it to the side like a lot of people. Now that I look closer I see it is a potential comb over because it's not a definite part to the side. Wow man you notice things that I never did on this dude. I want to ask you since I'm kind of a young guy and I'm not that familiar with him until the last 6 months give or take. Is he over dazn? I'm sure this guy's been around awhile but he just popped out of the Woodworks for me since the virus put us on lockdown and there's not much to do other than watch MNred LOL. So he has a promotion company right? But what about dazn? I can Google it but I'm just trying to figure out if you can give me a little history on this guy since you maybe been into boxing longer than me. Help Will Young Buck out here if you can and give me some insight on this guy please. That's funny though... with the comb over thing

  • Joshua IS going to duck USYK. It's as plain as the nose on Andy Ruiz's face. It's already happened once when Joshua chose Pulev rather than defend the WBO belt against USYK who was mandatory back then as well. He ducked him once, he'll do it again The only thing we don't know for certain is what excuse Eddie Hearn will use. I would guess, ''Usyk wants too much money''.

  • It's time AJ called the shots. While he cleans up the HW stables with his highly polished resume, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder continues to stink up the class with fights against Otto Wallin, Tom Schwartz, Zefer Zeferi and old man Ortiz. Fury and Wilder will probably still be fighting themselves till 2030!

    • Usyk hasn't even fought anyone alive at heavyweight, and yet he's already out here talking about how he wants more money from AJ. These fighters aren't even real ones, becase if they were, they would do what AJ did on HIS way up. Fight the bigger fighters for however much they'll give you, because you believe in yourself, and you know you'll win. Then you're the shot-caller, and you get what you want. AJ had to go through all these fools demanding crazy splits they'd never earned before, just to give him a chance at whatever belt they had, and he went with it, because he knew the end-game. To be unified, and then undisputed champ. He's most of the way there. Now people are trying to skip the process, and make all their retirement money out of one fight with him. Usyk doesn't even really believe all his OWN talk about beating AJ. Because if he did, he would just fight him and win, then he can demand whatever splits he wants. This is ridiculous. I wouldn't have it either. AJ's big enough to do whatever he wants now, anyway. Even if he dropped all the belts tomorrow, he's big enough that the governing bodies would suffer way more, and longer, than he would at all, at this point. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Usyk will stand on the edge of range feinting making Joshua over reach. Joshua’s straight right is awful and everytime he throws it he pulls it back too far and too wide and Usyk being a southpaw will mean Joshua has to throw it. Also Joshua’s best punch is his right uppercut and Usyk being a southpaw means he’s further away from it so Joshua will lead with his head to try and land it. Usyk is all wrong for Joshua, him and Hearn know it.

Not just for the fact that all the belt won't be involved, but also because alot of people believe Usyk can potentially be the man. AJ - Usyk HAS to happen next. By the words of Eddie Hearn I think AJ has a MASSIVE confidence issue against Usyk.

    • @Simie Mandla AJ will be the favourite, as he's been in every single fight he's had so far. Doesn't mean he can't lose as we saw against Ruiz Jr. Usyk will be one of the few prime fighters AJ has ever fought. Usyk will also BY FAR be the best opponent AJ has ever fought. I think it will be hard for Usyk to win though as he will need a stoppage basically. If Usyk is actaully outboxing Aj, will he even get the decision?

      dsadsa sadsadadsadsa sadsada11 өдрийн өмнө
    • PLEASE. AJ knows how to beat Usyk. He's said it for years now. I'm not saying usyk doesn't have a chance, any fighter does, but let's not pretend that AJ isn't the favourite for this fight. Especially after Usyk's fight against Chisora. AJ gave the strategy for Chisora to beat him BEFORE the fight. Chisora couldn't execute it completely, but the parts he DID implement, definitely gave usyk problems. He may have won that fight, but if a past his prime Chisora gave him problems, what do you think AJ who has more weight, height, technical skills, power and general ring presence will do to him? Don't joke 😏😋

    • @san tho lay The heavyweight division was dull during the Klitschkos reign, that's not their fault, the competition just wasn't sufficient enough for fans to be truly investing. The heavyweight division is exciting now, there's a lot of current top-level talent and a lot of prospects coming up. In boxing today every fighter is in effect their own promoter, they have to be, but getting deals done is down to the actual promoter. I don't think you realise just how many people are involved in making a fight happen and how many parties you have to make happy. It's not as easy as two fighters want to compete - present a deal. There are so many logistics and it takes time, that's why fans get frustrated. Also, I'll say whatever I want, I'll type the word Eddie as many times as I want - Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie - have I annoyed even more now? I hope so. If you don't understand, despite the fact Eddie has explain over and over in ever interview he has done the reasons for a POSSIBILITY the Usyk fight doesn't happen (now, the doesn't mean it won't happen), well then, you'll never get it. It's okay, there's people in the world who just don't have the intelligence to understand certain concepts even when they are broken down in the most basics of the English language. I expect you'll be annoyed and reply back, but I must warn you I won't see it, I've wasted enough of my time in acknowledging your existence but it's time for me to get back to my life. Take care.

    • @J B blah blah blah. that was one longwinded way to justify a duck. lol. you never heard the klitchkos complaining about mandos, right? and they had a lock on the belts for a decade. also: stop typing EDDIE so much. you do know joshua is his own promoter, right? hearn even says it time and time again. "i work for anthony joshua and not the other way around. I do what he says. his is MY BOSS". hearn says this like a mantra. therefore, if AJ ducks Usyk, we know he wasn't nearly the 'keeper of titles' that the klitchko brothers were, and, more importantly, that it was his decision ALONE to avoid facing Usyk. not eddie hearns.

san tho laysan tho lay12 өдрийн өмнө
    • I don't think you're understanding what Eddie means. He's mentioned time and time again that when you're dealing what fighters, you're not just dealing with them, you have many, many others to deal with and you have to make everyone happy - the team, the venue, the broadcasters, the fans. It's not like a regular job where you sign a contract or you have an agreement for a set wage or salary, you have to sit down with the fighter or their representatives, there's lawyers involved, there is so much going on behind-the-scenes, and I think we as fans very often forget that, we look at it like, "these fighters want to face each other, why can't they just sign a contract and fight already?" It's not that easy. AJ has always said the goal is to be undisputed, but in order to be undisputed he has to fight mandatories to keep the belts, Eddie even said that it seems like everytime you get through fighting a mandatory, the other governing bodies immediately step in to say "Okay, you've faced the IBF mandatory, now we as the WBA are next in line," so as much as AJ wants to fight for the undisputed, there's always another mandatory in place before he can do, I think that's the point Eddie is trying to make. And we as fans of boxing would be ready to see the undisputed fight if Bob Arum and Frank Warren had done their jobs in the first place and retract the contract that was on the table earlier this year, stating Fury had to face Wilder a third time, they had the opportunity, they just didn't take it because as Eddie has said he doesn't believe and I don't either that the other side actually wanted the fight, not Fury because I think he did, but he's got incompetent people representing him who are so out of touch and bitter that the likes of Eddie Hearn are taking over the world of boxing and putting on exciting fights and treats the fighters with respect and gets them great deals along the way. And Oscar De La Hoya is turning into Bob Arum, he's sour that fighters are speaking up on how they are treated, so he bad-mouths them, it's quite pathetic.

    • @Ross Cowan fury’s win over wilder counts for more than Whyte Takam Povetkin Pulev and Parker combined, none of them were dangerous fights on paper. Ruiz was simply revenge for a shock defeat. Fury has quality over quantity, and people forget the bookies odds for the Chisora fight. And the fact that David Haye pulled out on him twice. Fury’s a bigger risk taker, maybe it’s Eddie Hearn’s fault rather than AJ’s though.

    • @Chr Cip no fury has one bigger single fight ( well two ) but apart from those two.... Chisora, Cunningham, wallin, Schwartz, McDermott etc v Povetkin, Whyte, Ruiz, Parker, Takham!! Yes fury has one big win but apart from that and Wlad he’s fought nobody!

    • @Ross Cowan AJ hasn’t fought tougher opponents bar Wlad. Who was more dangerous than wilder? A washed up Povetkin coming for a pay day? AJ Wilder is a 50:50 shoot out. Wilder is a more dangerous fight for Fury than AJ, he’s too unpredictable and can’t knock people out/down at any moment. AJ’s a lot more deliberate and readable for someone as savvy as Fury.

Now, here again AJ puts all his belts on the line against a dangerous fighter like Usyk. Impeccable resume, the most impressive in the division without a doubt.

Dragon Ball SuperDragon Ball Super14 өдрийн өмнө
    • @Marcus Alexander But why has HE done ALL THE WORK, as the only HW fighting EVERYONE to get where he is, if other ppl can just piggyback off of him and get the same money WITHOUT the same effort, by just demanding it from HIM in mandatory fights? How does THAT make sense to you. If it was YOU in that position, I can almost guarantee you wouldn't just give people hundreds of millions easy, when YOU'RE the one who's worked to get to a place in your career to make them, and THEY'VE never even made close to that. Yet to fight YOU, they want Royal cheques. Is this about FIGHTING, or is AJ their get-rich-quick scheme? 🙄

      Simie MandlaSimie Mandla11 өдрийн өмнө
    • @Dragon Ball Super usyk is a world class pound for pound fighter obviously all at CW but should get 60.40 split. 50.50 to much. If I was AJ I'm already rich enough less talk and just get on with it. 50.50 not that bad when your already mega rich and guaranteed to be so for the next 5 year's.

      Marcus AlexanderMarcus Alexander13 өдрийн өмнө
    • @Marcus Alexander I think the issue is money, Usyk is demanding more than what he is actually worth at the moment, and that's vexing AJ who brings everything to the table, from belts, audiences to royal money yet is expected to yield 50/50 splits just because a sanctioning body ordered the fight. Its madness because when AJ as a rookie became a mandatory to world champions he didn't get those kinds of splits. I think leaking these rumors is a way to get Usyk back to common sense because he will never enjoy that kind of money against a different fighter.

Dragon Ball SuperDragon Ball Super13 өдрийн өмнө
    • @Dragon Ball Super yes I hope so why work so hard to throw them away uysk is a Great fighter but AJ is too big and too strong too fast AJ could beat usyk inside 6 round's usyk obviously has the boxing skills but against AJ the pressure Will get to him.

      Marcus AlexanderMarcus Alexander13 өдрийн өмнө
    • @Chr Cip I didn't put Joshua alongside Lewis, Ali and Patterson, AJ did that when he made history as only the 4th boxer to reclaim his titles in a direct rematch, which is crazy considering the amount of world champions that lost their belts throughout history. The issue I have with your argument is the fact that neither Wilder nor Fury have fought the rest of the Top 10 outside of each-other and the anomaly like Ortiz, who also hasn't fought any of those mentioned champions / contenders, while many of them have fought one another. I can't theorize what kind of fight Ortiz would give AJ because he only fought Wilder but from looking at the Parker vs Ruiz fight you could already see that Ruiz was a threat and AJ needed a different game-plan from the usual brute KO power. Similarly, Klitschko is a boxer both AJ and Fury defeated, which allows you to analyze what kind of fight the AJ vs Fury might be if it ever happened. I can't really do that with Wilder or Ortiz because its like they were fighting outside of the division for the last 5 to 10 years, there is no real overlap.

    • @Chr Cip Takam and Pulev have given MANY fighters trouble, who were bigger and more powerful than usyk because they've been fighting HWs their whole careers, and AJ disoatched of them comfortably. Who with AJ's size and power, AND SKILLSET has Usyk EVER fought? If an enthusiastic but past it Chisora can give him problems, which he definitely did, what's AJ gonna do to him? Why do you think usyk has been going on about wanting lots of money from Eddie Hearn? He knows he's not making it 12 rounds against AJ, and THAT'S his best fight style. So what does he have left? Move forward and fight close with a fighter who's bigger, taller, more powerful than him, has a longer reach, AND who ALSO has underrated technical skills to back all that up?🤷🏽‍♀️ If Usyk wins this, THAT will be the upset, not AJ beating usyk... come now🙄🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♀️😂

      Simie MandlaSimie Mandla11 өдрийн өмнө
    • @David It's because he fights ppl who ACTUALLY have punching power, which means he's gonna have instances where he ACTUALLY gets punched, unlike the other fools who don't fight anyone who can ACTUALLY hurt them. It's laughable how ppl have no boxing knowledge AND lack common sense. If you're the only one fighting live fighters as your MANDATORIES, and most everyone else is fighting zombies from the top 80 - 50, YOU OBVIOUSLY have a much bigger chance of getting chinned in a fight than fighters fighting journeymen as VOLUNTARY fights, because you're continuously taking risks they DON'T/WON'T. And even WITH all that said, Joshua's never BEEN KNOCKED OUT. It's right there in the stats, but you know ppl love ignoring facts to push their fighter's narratives 🤷🏽‍♀️🙄🤦🏾‍♀️🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♀️

Where was Usyk's love for purse bids when he went to fight Krzysztof Glowacki, in Poland? But he knows that Britain loves throwing their own out without minding what the world is saying. Yet, the way they present themselves is the way they'll treat them. Arbitration...bang, they took the first ever both British undisputed away from the Brits. Warren. Underground negotiations with Wilder, bang. Another British was involved in splitting it off. Went to America to fight, got robbed of the first fight, and they've been moulding further scenarios since. WBO manipulations...yeah, and the man doing everything underground to obstruct it all may be British. • Eddie Hearn takes time for his protégé AJ, he doesn't want the fight against Usyk, he knows very well AJ can lose all his titles. Unfortunately the granfathers of boxing are over, it's time for Joshua to face the real boxers.

    • @Yakyn Asante Joshua without a doubt whatsoever but i want him to face Usyk, another solid name on his resume : Pullev was okay, his rematch against Andy Ruiz extremely boring... Heavyweight needs to be more entertaining

  • coward how people can defend GayJ for this one is beyond comprehension

  • AJ has a decent resume but let's be honest, he hasn't fought anyone on a level of Fury, Wilder, or a Usyk. Usyk would be his best win. I think Fury, Wilder, and Usyk beats everyone on AJs resume.
